Mania

For the third concert of his Carte Blanche serie, Umberto Odone presents the group Mania.
“What if we could play freely, without ever chasing an illusory perfection? Born from the desire to favor a warm, sincere musical connection rather than the cold display of technical virtuosity, mania celebrates above all groove, dialogue, and the shared moment. Here, there are no constraints, no stylistic rules—only the freedom to explore, improvise, and create together, in joy and complicity. Mania consists of four Brussels-based musicians with a shared passion for deep grooves.
The group collaboratively develops original compositionsallowing each member to contribute their unique influence to the music. The listener is taken on a journey through a synthesis of rhythm, melodic layering, impressionistic interplay and ostinatos.”
